By 2050 70-80% of the world’s population will be urbanised, the need for efficient and sustainable mobility has arrived.
More and more of our cities are seeking to restrict or even stop the movement of vehicles entirely making an alternative mode of eco-friendly and environmentally acceptable transport essential.
Taking these controversial measures to reduce traffic in urban areas does not provide a solution as can be seen by the limited effect the Congestion Charge in London is having, it only scratches the surface.
The levels of congestion in major cities across the World are at unprecedented levels with the average time lost sitting in traffic is calculated at 100 hours for New York and Moscow, 88 Hours for Paris, 69 hours for London, 65 hours for Munich and 58 hours for Brussels

The cost of congestion is not just calculated in hours lost but in terms of higher emissions, increased fuel consumption and road traffic accidents.
Pollution
Transportation is now the most polluting sector in the United Kingdom and produced the equivalent of 122 million metric tons of carbon dioxide in 2019. (2021 Annual Report – Department of Transport)
This means transport is the largest emitting sector of greenhouse gas emissions, producing 27% of the UK’s total emissions in 2019.
International aviation emissions (which are not counted towards the UK’s total domestic emissions) have more than doubled from 16 million metric tons of carbon dioxide to 37 million metric tons of carbon dioxide in the period 1990-2019, a 138% increase.
We desperately need to find ways of drastically reducing the toxic emissions produced by our current modes of transport, electrification of the motor vehicle is going some way towards this goal but the eVTOL market will not only remove a significant element of the current polluters but begin with zero emissions from the start.

Clear Air Technology is different from all our competitors. We are researching and collaborating with the fledgling companies who are already at the forefront of the various market segments that make up the elements of an eVTOL vehicle, the motors, propellers, flight systems, etc.
This allows us to concentrate on the design and production of not just our vehicle but the infrastructure required to make urban air mobility an every day occurrence.
We feel that the quickest and easiest way to market is to form strategic partnerships, we are already talking to companies that will be at the forefront of the required infrastructure in terms of providing the critical links in the network which will have to be formed to enable the movement, landing and charging of eVTOL vehicles a reality.

Our vision is to create a new mode of air travel, making it personal, easy to use and as commonplace as the motor car whilst tackling the environmental problems caused by current methods of transport.
Our mission is to manufacture a user friendly eVTOL vehicle for the World market with unparalleled levels of safety at a level that makes it as affordable as current motor vehicles.
We are extremely focused on bringing this vehicle to market having achieved the first stage, our proof of concept producing a fully operational scale prototype.
We are now embarking on the next stage of our development with the production of a full scale prototype whilst engaging with the certification bodies and identified infrastructure partners.
